You know what I love most about working for Keller Williams?Sure, it’s great that we have been the number one real estate company in Queens for 3 years in a row, since 2008 (Look at me trying to sneak in a Keller Williams pitch!)

And the free weekly training sessions are mucho beneficial.

But what I love most is how much Keller Williams gives back to the community. It’s actually the reason I joined Keller Williams in the first place.

Each year, on the second Thursday in May, thousands of Keller Williams associates join together to devote their time and resources to give back to the neighborhoods in which they serve. This day is known as RED DAY and was started in honor of Keller Williams Realty’s Vice Chairman of the Board, Mo Anderson. Now, I absolutely LOVE Mo Anderson. I mean, look at the video below. How can you not love her?!

Right?

This year, our office, Keller Williams Landmark Realty, has teamed up with City Harvest to help feed New York City’s hungry men, women and children. Please go to the City Harvest website to learn more.

Last year our drive raised more than 700 pounds of food, which City Harvest delivered to nearly 600 emergency food programs in New York to help feed children and their families throughout the summer. This year we are looking to double that amount.

So what can you do to help? Contact me, Karen Ribeiro, at 917-981-1877 or email me at karenisyouragent@gmail.com and let me know that you would like to participate. All we ask from you is a donation of non-perishable food items (example: canned goods, pasta, etc) I will come and pick them up on or before May 10TH 2012, at a convenient time. That’s all that’s there to it! Simple, right?
